1. Introduction

AACP™ Workforce Intelligence is an aviation and aerospace workforce initiative operated by Noble Consulting Ltd.

Noble Consulting ("Noble," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of individuals who interact with AACP™ and is committed to the responsible management and protection of personal information.

This Privacy Policy describes how Noble collects, uses, discloses, safeguards, retains and otherwise manages personal information in connection with AACP™, including its website, digital platform, programs, Expressions of Interest, participant services, industry and institutional engagement, and related communications.

Our privacy practices are designed to comply with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, federal privacy legislation.


2. Accountability

Noble Consulting is responsible for personal information under its control and maintains policies and practices intended to support compliance with applicable privacy requirements.

3. Personal Information We Collect

The personal information we collect depends on an individual's relationship and interaction with AACP™.

We seek to limit collection to information reasonably required for legitimate program, operational, workforce development, security, administrative or legal purposes.

Personal information may include:

  • name and contact information
  • city, province or territory, and country
  • educational and professional background
  • employment and career-related information
  • aviation, aerospace or related experience
  • relevant training or certification information
  • areas of professional or program interest
  • program and cohort preferences
  • information provided when expressing interest in AACP™
  • information provided while participating in an AACP™ program or service
  • program participation and completion information
  • communications with AACP™
  • information provided in connection with industry, institutional or partnership engagement; and
  • other information voluntarily provided to us.

Where applicable, we may also maintain limited administrative information relating to program fees, such as payment status and confirmation.

We do not intend to store complete payment-card numbers, card security codes or online banking credentials within the AACP™ platform.


4. Digital and Technical Information

When individuals use the AACP™ website or digital services, certain technical information may be collected automatically.

This may include:

  • IP address
  • browser and device information
  • dates and times of access
  • website or platform activity
  • referral information
  • authentication and security events; and
  • technical logs necessary for system operation, security and troubleshooting.

We may use cookies or similar technologies where appropriate for website functionality, security, authentication, analytics and service improvement.


5. How We Use Personal Information

Noble may use personal information for purposes reasonably connected with an individual's interaction with AACP™, including to:

  • receive and manage Expressions of Interest
  • communicate regarding relevant AACP™ opportunities
  • administer registration and participation
  • provide AACP™ programs and digital services
  • support career and workforce development
  • administer participant accounts and cohorts
  • provide participant information, reports or resources associated with AACP™ services
  • facilitate appropriate connections with employers, educational institutions, training providers and other organizations
  • manage employer, industry, institutional and community relationships
  • understand demand for AACP™ programs and services
  • evaluate and improve our programs and services
  • produce aggregated or de-identified workforce insights
  • operate, maintain and secure our technology
  • detect, investigate and prevent unauthorized activity, fraud, misuse or security incidents
  • respond to inquiries and requests
  • meet contractual, regulatory and legal requirements; and
  • carry out other reasonable purposes identified at or before collection or otherwise permitted by law.

We do not use personal information for unrelated purposes unless authorized by the individual or otherwise permitted by law.


6. AACP™ Participant and Workforce Intelligence Services

Certain AACP™ services involve the collection and processing of information provided by participants as part of their program experience.

This information may be used to provide individualized program, career or workforce-related information and to support the administration and delivery of AACP™ services.

Where appropriate, information may also contribute to aggregated or de-identified insights used to better understand workforce trends and program outcomes.

Noble Consulting Ltd. does not sell individual participant information.

Participation in the AACP™ ecosystem by an employer, educational institution, training provider or other organization does not provide that organization with unrestricted access to individual participant information.

This Privacy Policy does not disclose, license or grant access to any proprietary AACP™ methodology, technology, analytical process, framework, intellectual property or confidential business information.


7. Consent

Noble obtains consent for the collection, use and disclosure of personal information where required by applicable law.

The appropriate form of consent may vary depending on the circumstances, the sensitivity of the information and the purpose for which it is collected.

Individuals may withdraw consent to certain uses or disclosures, subject to applicable legal, contractual and operational limitations.

Where information is reasonably necessary to provide a requested AACP™ service, withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to continue providing that service.


8. Expressions of Interest

Submitting an Expression of Interest allows Noble to understand interest in AACP™ opportunities and, where appropriate, communicate with individuals regarding relevant opportunities.

An Expression of Interest does not, by itself, guarantee or constitute:

  • admission or enrolment
  • participation in a program or cohort
  • employment or an interview
  • certification
  • funding or sponsorship; or
  • acceptance by an employer, educational institution, training provider or other third party.

Information submitted through an Expression of Interest will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the collection notice presented at the time of submission.


9. Employment, Education and Industry Connections

AACP™ may facilitate connections between participants and organizations within the aviation, aerospace, education, training, workforce and related ecosystems.

Where personal information is disclosed to an external organization for a particular opportunity, Noble will manage the disclosure in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and the purposes communicated to the individual.

Employers and other organizations do not receive unrestricted access to the AACP™ participant database solely because they participate in the AACP™ ecosystem.

AACP™ participation does not guarantee employment, interviews, admission, certification, funding or any other third-party outcome.


10. Communications

Noble may contact individuals regarding an Expression of Interest, program, account, cohort, inquiry, partnership discussion or other relationship initiated with AACP™.

Where required by applicable law, consent will be obtained before sending broader commercial or promotional electronic communications.

Individuals who have consented to receive such communications may withdraw their consent through the unsubscribe mechanism provided or by contacting us.

Submitting an Expression of Interest does not automatically enrol an individual in unrelated marketing communications.


11. Disclosure of Personal Information

Noble may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary for an identified purpose or where otherwise permitted or required by law.

Recipients may include:

  • technology and service providers supporting AACP™ operations
  • organizations involved in an opportunity authorized or requested by an individual
  • professional advisers
  • government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities where required or permitted by law; and
  • other parties where the individual has provided appropriate consent or where disclosure is otherwise legally authorized.

Service providers acting on our behalf are expected to handle personal information for authorized purposes and subject to appropriate safeguards.

Noble Consulting Ltd. does not sell personal information.


12. Service Providers and Processing Outside Canada

Noble may engage third-party service providers to support hosting, technology, communications, security, analytics, administration and other operational functions.

Depending on the provider and service configuration, personal information may be processed or stored in Canada or another jurisdiction.

Where personal information is processed or stored outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to courts, government authorities or law-enforcement agencies in accordance with applicable law.

Noble will provide information concerning service providers outside Canada where required by applicable privacy legislation.

13. Safeguarding Personal Information

Noble uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the personal information under its control.

These safeguards may include measures relating to:

  • access control
  • authentication
  • encryption
  • secure communications and storage
  • restricted administrative access
  • system monitoring
  • security testing
  • backup and recovery
  • vulnerability management; and
  • organizational privacy and security practices.

Although we take reasonable measures to protect personal information, no electronic system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.


14. Retention and Destruction

Noble retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to satisfy applicable legal, contractual, regulatory and legitimate operational requirements.

Retention periods may differ depending on the nature of the information and the purpose for which it is maintained.

When personal information is no longer reasonably required, Noble will take appropriate measures to securely destroy, delete or anonymize it, subject to applicable requirements.


15. Access and Correction

Subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions, individuals may request access to personal information about themselves that is under Noble's control.

Individuals may also request correction of personal information they believe is inaccurate or incomplete.

Noble may take reasonable steps to verify identity before responding to an access or correction request.

16. Privacy and Security Incidents

Noble maintains processes for responding to suspected unauthorized access, use, disclosure, loss or other compromise of personal information.

Where an incident occurs, Noble may take steps to contain and investigate the incident, assess potential risks, remediate identified issues and comply with applicable legal reporting or notification requirements.


17. Aggregated and De-Identified Information

Noble may create and use aggregated or de-identified information for legitimate purposes such as program evaluation, research, service improvement and workforce analysis.

Where information has been appropriately de-identified so that it is no longer reasonably associated with an identifiable individual, it may be handled differently from identifiable personal information as permitted by applicable law.

Noble will not intentionally use aggregated or de-identified information to publicly identify individual participants.


18. Third-Party Websites and Services

AACP™ services may contain links to websites or services operated independently by employers, educational institutions, training providers, government organizations or other third parties.

Noble is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.

Individuals should review the applicable privacy information before providing personal information directly to another organization.


19. Youth Participation

Certain AACP™ initiatives may involve youth.

Where an AACP™ program is made available to minors, Noble will apply privacy and consent practices appropriate to the circumstances, nature of the program, age of participants and applicable legal requirements.

Additional consent or authorization may be required for youth programs.


20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Noble may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our services, technology, legal obligations or privacy practices.

The current version will be made available through the AACP™ website and will display the date it was last updated.

Where appropriate or legally required, material changes may be communicated through additional means.
